Yep, it’s a wrap! The WLFT would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all authors, interviewers, volunteers, visitors, Paige’s Book Gallery and the Whanganui War Memorial Centre staff for making this weekend a huge success! Gallery photos will follow later this week.

I have been involved in many festivals over the years, and this was one of the most enjoyable, both for its variety and the efficiency, warmth and generosity of the hosts. Whanganui should be proud of this biennial event.

I have attended all except one of the Whanganui Literary Festivals. I enjoy the intimacy of the sessions, the Dinner With The Stars and the fact that this festival is a celebration of NZ literature and NZ authors. I always arrive home with a large number of new works for my bookshelves.
